Brothers Of End are:
Bengt Lagerberg - vocals & drums
Lars-Olof Johansson Ståle - vocals, guitar & piano
Mattias Areskog - vocals, bass, guitar & piano
The members of the band have known each other since they were about 15, when they grew up in the town of Jönköping and taught each other how to play music.
Since then Lasse and Bengt have been playing with The Cardigans, while Mattias have been working as a journalist and playing with swedish artists such as Consequences, Marit Bergman, Friska Viljor and Anna Ternheim.
By 2006 their ways crossed again, on the back stage camp of the Swedish festival “Storsjöyran”, after a show with The Cardigans. They decided to start something new, and by all means try to redifine what they thought music should be all about.
In october 2010 they released their debut album, “The End”, in Scandinavia and months later was released in France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria & Switzerland.
The album materialized in three weeks, almost accidentally. There was no thought of actually produce an album from scratch. But they wanted to take with them their experiences and remove prejudices about creating music. Trying to make music that is close.
Their second album, “Mount Inside” will be released on April 13 2011.
The picture of "Mount Inside" cover was shot in a little lake in the beech woods of Skåne early in the morning.
The album was recorded in Tambourine and Konjaga studios, 2009-2010. The first single is called “Stare at the sun”.
“Mount Inside” will be released digitally world wide, on their own label Konjaga, in cooperation with Playground Scandinavia.
