The "Best Of" interview

Did you all muck in on the tracklisting for the Best Of?
Nina Persson: Yeah, we did! In the first place, when we finally agreed to do it, we wanted nothing to do with it – we said “do whatever you want”, because it is kind of a product of the record company. But when we got the tracklist, we were, like, “what the f*** is this?” We decided to step in, because what they’d done was just a Greatest Hits. They listed the commercial successes and that wasn’t how we wanted to do it. So they let us in and it was fun – we went through all our material and voted and talked about it, and we also wrote all the liner notes. Now we’re really happy that we did participate because ultimately it’s about us.
